DEUTSCH “Orbuculum – Das schwarze Ding aus Hartplastik.” Einst war es die magische Sphäre der Druiden. Heute ist das „Orbuculum“ eine Sphäre aus schwarzem Plastik, die Autotüren automatisch zu öffnen scheint. Für die christliche Kirche im Mittelalter noch ein rätselhaftes Symbol der Häretiker, ist es für den Teheraner Künstler Javid Ramezani ein gestylter Zauber-Schlüssel zur Flucht aus der Pandemie des Alltags.
ENGLISH “Orbuculum – That thing of compressed and compact and black.” It was once the magical sphere of the druids. Today the „orbuculum“ is a sphere made of black plastic that appears to open car doors automaticly. For the Christian church in the Middle Ages still a puzzling symbol of the heretics, for the Tehran artist Javid Ramezani it is a stylish magic key to escape from the pandemic of everyday life.
